It's going to be a long one.....

Prepare yourself, this may be a little long. My heart is so extremely full today to the point I have never felt before! Today has been an amazing Sunday and I still have the rest of the night to soak it all in. Driving to church today I just got an overwhelming feeling of happiness and peace! I wanted to soak it all up. Church today made it even better! The spirit was definitely felt in all 3 meetings today! This morning before church I wanted to make somewhat of a list of all the "Ah Ha" moments I've had or just things that have really hit me hard lately! I started the list and had a hard time stopping! So I decided to share my list.....

• I think the main thing that I can narrow everything down to is how simple the Gospel really is. The Gospel is so simple, WE are the ones that make it complicated.
• I've come to know the atonement on such a different level than what I ever new before. The atonement is necessary for human development. We don't only use the atonement for our sins, we use the atonement for everything! Christ is there for us to turn everything over to him, he is just waiting for us to actually do it! Once we accept that and turn everything over to him we can almost "sit back" and watch him work miracles. "Sit back" isn't really the right way to say it because we still have to strive hard to do our part but once you do your part and continue to do your part you will witness miracles and tender mercies everyday!
• One fact that I didn't realize until I read it recently is that is is a lot harder to repent when it's just your spirit. It's a lot easier to repent in this life when the spirit and body is combined. Small fact but one I never really thought about before.
• I've really tried to focus on listening and teaching by the spirit! I think you learn most by what you feel not in what is actually being said. It's important to really strive hard to learn by the spirit.
• I've realized, once you finally come to understand your full potential you want to strive everyday to do the right thing and it's easier to resist temptation or even get close to temptations. It's hard to really know who you are until you realize the potential you can have. Once you truly realize your full potential you won't let anything get in the way of letting you reach that! It's a comforting feeling and thought!
• I've thought a lot about what my life would be without the gospel! That one is hard for me to fathom! Even though I have no idea what it would be like, I still find myself thinking about it a lot.
• I find SOOOO much comfort in the fact that we already made the right choice once to come here to this earth is should be pretty easy to make the right choices again to get us to our next destination. :) I've realized that there must be something pretty amazing ahead of us considering we chose to come to this earth even though we new how hard it would be and how much temptations there would be. We must really want what awaits us. :) We new how important it was to come here. That thought right there give me a reason to wake up each morning!
• Opposition simply brings us happiness.
• God is my rock and he is my support!
• The power of prayer is real! When you take the time to truly and sincerely reach out to God, he will provide for you what you need in this life. You will feel his love and his guidance!
• Last but definitely not least is by living the Gospel of Jesus Christ to its fullest you are able to find pure happiness! You come to know who you really are and the quest to finding yourself is over. You are able to realize who you are but you start to focus on how to become better! I've wasted a lot of time trying to figure out who I am. It's simple....I am a Child of God. I've finally come to realize the true meaning behind that and I am so thankful for that because I can now focus on how to become better!

So how's that for some radomness!?? I have learned a lot more since I have been here but those are the most recent and the ones I think about most often. Life really doesn't have to be complicated...... :)
